Celebrate Community …
Last year we were pleased to present our first exhibit of the 2019 season in our Community Corner space at the Mattawa Museum in celebration of the 75th anniversary of The Chip Stand. The exhibit featured a small-town business that has come to be a large icon on a Main Street in a small Northern Ontario town.

He and Tamra, along with Dali, had traveled to Machu Pichu in Peru. When they came back, Danny entered one of his photos to Lonely Planet.
He won 1st prize…
which was an all expenses paid trip to Abu Dhabi!
Community Interest …
Part of our exhibit in the museum was the canvas print of that winning photograph from Peru. Many times over the season, visitors to the museum would comment on how beautiful the photograph was, but also, wouldn’t it be wonderful to see pictures of the trip! With so many requests, how could we say no. In these days of COVID-19, consider this our gift of travel.
Danny put together a beautiful album for everyone to enjoy.
